Let's do it!

🥶 THE SECOND WEEK OF SEPTEMBER IS DEFINITELY LOOKING INTERESTING!

This graphic shows the GFS model, but it isn’t alone. The GFS AI model, many ensemble members, and the European model are also pointing toward a potentially significant pattern change sometime around September 7–12.

This could truly be our first real shot of fall air this season! If the current signals hold, the cooler air could push deep into Texas and spread across much of the South—even parts of the Gulf Coast may feel the change.

Now, this is not a forecast yet, and nothing is set in stone this far out. However, with several models and ensemble members showing a similar pattern, our confidence is beginning to increase.

Over the next several days—and especially throughout the coming week—we should get a much better handle on the timing, strength, and southern extent of this potential significant fall cooldown.

We’ll continue tracking every update and keep y’all informed! 🍂🥶
