This last weekend was every florists dream! Tables scaped with florals in shades of burgundy & black, books, and candlelight. The sweetest bride and family to work with, and a breathtaking sunset over the most beautiful venue!

Special shout out to Hickory Hills Flower Farm for the most perfect and STUNNING burgundy dahlias and black knight scabiosa, and to Kennicott South Bend for the dramatic, trailing amaranthus and other gorgeous floral!

This wedding theme was an absolute dream! I feel so lucky to have been asked to bring their vision to life.

Thankful & grateful for the busiest fall yet!

Soaking up these last few sunny days of planting fall containers!

With selections winding down, these wispy junipers and chartreuse pachysandra gave these containers the pop they needed and will carry them well past Halloween and into the holiday season!

Classic fall for these pots!

I love when asparagus fern from the summer plantings are full and weeping. They make the perfect accent for fall annuals.

I finally took the day and worked on my own front porch.

I will probably add more lights because well, you can never have enough lights… and maybe some more light down through the plants and pumpkins but overall, my porch is ready for the season!

An arch for a pottery studio hosting a Rhythm N’ Raku festival this weekend!

➡️ Scroll through to see the artwork that inspired this arch! The owners of this studio are insanely talented artist and I couldn’t help but play off their event poster for their studio entrance.

📍 If you are looking for something to do this today, October 10th, stop by Beale Pottery, listen to some music, paint a jack-o-lantern, eat some good food and have a b**r. It’s going to be a fun time!

This client requested low maintenance if any live plants were used since they would be out of town here and there throughout October. I reused the prince tut and asparagus fern from their summer containers, and added cabbage, ivy and sun ferns, topped off with a pumpkin tower, dried hydrangeas, pumpkins and gourds.

This time of year can be hard to find the outdoor decor sections fully stocked. If I can’t find what I need but know exactly what I want, I find a way to make it happen.

Grapevine + Tomato Cage = the perfect pumpkin tower obelisk.
