Hi, Twin Cities — meet Second Story. 👋
I’m excited to finally share a new local thrift & reuse business built around one simple idea:
Good things deserve another story.
Second Story is being created to make quality secondhand clothing, housewares, furniture, décor, and everyday essentials more affordable for local families — while keeping useful items in circulation and out of the landfill.
And I’m starting with something simple:
FREE pickup.
If you have bags, boxes, furniture, or household items sitting in your house, garage, or trunk that you’ve been meaning to donate but just haven’t gotten around to, I’ll come pick them up at no cost anywhere in the Twin Cities and surrounding metro area.
I’m currently looking for clean, usable:
• Clothing & shoes
• Kitchenware & cookware
• Home décor
• Toys & games
• Books
• Lamps & small furniture
• Tools
• Seasonal items
• Baskets, frames & storage
• Vintage and everyday household goods
Want a pickup? Send this page a message with:
• Your address
• Roughly how many bags, boxes, or larger items there are
• Any days/times that work best
• A photo if you are requesting pickup of furniture of larger items
I’ll coordinate a pickup window. Once confirmed, just bag or box everything up and leave it on your porch — you do not need to be home.
Accessibility pickup is also available. If you’re elderly, disabled, or otherwise unable to bring items outside, just let me know when you message. I’m happy to coordinate free in-home pickup when appropriate.
I’ll be sharing more soon about Second Story, what I’m collecting, and where you’ll eventually be able to shop.
