Give back to your Westchester community with fellow interior designers and design industry professionals for a day of service with The Fuller Center for Housing of Greater New York City. Join their quest to provide adequate shelter for all people in need throughout the New York Metropolitan Area. We will help support Veterans through the North Castle American Legion in Armonk, NY, by removing old carpeting and beginning to lay down a new floor. Let's help revitalize this center for those who gave so much. Parking is available for volunteers.

No skills are needed, only a willingness to help. Construction supervisors will demonstrate what you will need to do. Come dressed in work clothes and closed toe shoes/boots for a day of community and work with a purpose. Our media sponsor Westchester Magazine will generously provide a lunch for all volunteers.

Volunteers must register with ASID NY Metro so we can plan for the work and the lunch. There is no ASID NY Metro charge to attend this event, but since all of the Fuller Center's work and materials are realized through volunteers, and donations, we ask that you donate $100 to the Fuller Center to offset the costs of materials and supervisor construction staff. Please give what you are able. Click below to register and donate.

We strongly encourage ALL VOLUNTEERS make a donation to the Fuller Center. Please include "ASID NY Metro" in Comments section when donating so they know you are associated with our event.

What really happens between the initial vision for a beautiful kitchen and the finished space?

The best lessons in design don't always come from what went right. Sometimes, it's the challenges, unexpected surprises—and yes, the bloopers—that teach us the most.

Join ASID NY Metro Westchester at Bilotta Kitchen & Home for a candid and lively behind-the-scenes conversation about what really happens when designing and executing a kitchen. Moderated by Coco Fath, Managing Editor from Modern Luxury, our panel brings together kitchen pros from different sides of the industry—including an architect, kitchen designer, tile expert, appliance specialist, and kitchen workstation expert—to share their successes, challenges, lessons learned, and a few memorable project bloopers along the way.
