In many Dolby Atmos rooms, the speakers overhead are smaller and cheaper than the ones up front.

Why? One reason is that full-size monitors are too dangerous to hang from a ceiling. Selene shrinks the box and keeps the accuracy: a 6.5-inch coaxial cube with 90° x 90° coverage, Vesa fly points and the same coaxial DNA as Terra. Every pair ships with its own exCORE, so expansion is simple.

Before Poseidon joins the system, it gets measured alone.

Each one goes on the stand in our hemi-anechoic chamber, where the walls swallow the reflections. Then Selene and Poseidon get calibrated together, so the 150Hz crossover lands in time and in phase.

Two rounds of measurement before it ever meets your room.

How much low end can a 6.5-inch cube really make?

Poseidon's 16cm driver travels 14.7mm each way, more throw than the 9" drivers in our last-generation Pulsar. With Selene, the system reaches 50Hz linear, F6 at 35Hz, and 98dB continuous at 50Hz.

It runs off the additional channels already in Selene's exCORE. No extra amp required.

Unusual suspects. Now shipping.

Terra, Selene with the exCORE, and Poseidon. Different sizes, same M.O.: aluminum cabinets, drivers calibrated one by one, and systems that plug together without guesswork.

Pick yours by the SPL and low-end extension your work needs. The accuracy comes standard.

Any two Terras are a matched pair.

Not because we got lucky. Because every driver is individually measured in our hemi-anechoic chamber and calibrated to the same target. Put any two Terras together and the left and right channels start from the same truth.

Precision. Not Prestige.

Even the Science Non-Fiction of Ex Machina needs to be fact-checked. That’s why we spend time with Terra in the truth-telling machine.

Inside our Brooklyn hemi-anechoic chamber, room reflections are stripped away so we can measure what Terra itself is actually doing. That way, you can have confidence that Ex Machina speakers are delivering the purest, most powerful, and trustworthy sound possible.

Pure, powerful bass is a two-way street. Let us explain…

Terra’s custom PuriFi low-frequency driver uses a unique surround geometry that allows near-perfect symmetry in both directions of its stroke—like a suspension engineered to behave identically whether it’s moving forward or backward.

Why obsess over that? Uneven movement creates harmonic distortion and compression.

Symmetrical movement keeps Terra’s low end clean, controlled, and linear—even when the driver is working hard.

We never get tired of seeing where our speakers end up.

This setup belongs to Neptune Mastering Studios, where they’re putting the finishing touches on records headed for clubs and dance floors around the world. Exactly the kind of work we built Ex Machina for.

Have Terra, not trust issues.

Terra delivers ±1.5 dB accuracy from 40Hz–30kHz, phase-coherent performance, and 90° point-source coverage. That means you can remove the uncertainty between what you hear in the studio and what listeners hear everywhere else.

Not to burst anyone’s bubble here, but Selene makes a pretty compelling argument against size mattering.

Selene packs Ex Machina’s point-source precision, wide dispersion, and phase-coherent performance into a remarkably compact 6.5" cube.

That means startling imaging and trustworthy translation without demanding a massive room—or a massive speaker. From nearfield setups to immersive systems, Selene puts reference-level monitoring where you actually need it.
