A Park Avenue Matrimonial and Family Law Office designed to feel less like an office—and more like a refuge.
For this repeat client, whose Brooklyn Heights home we previously designed and which was later featured in Aspire Home & Design, the design challenge for their 13,000-square-foot office was clear: create reception areas and private meeting spaces that feel warm, welcoming, and deeply personal.
In a profession where clients are often navigating some of life’s most challenging transitions, it was important that the environment provide a sense of comfort and security—a place where difficult conversations could unfold with ease.
To achieve this, we looked beyond traditional workplace design and drew inspiration from residential interiors, layering velvet, marble, leather, and soft, calming hues to create spaces that feel intimate, sophisticated, and lived in. The result is an office that balances professionalism with humanity, offering clients a place that feels safe, supportive, and beautifully considered.
