We create handmade wooden kitchen and home decor items. Our shop involves artistic handcrafted woodwork including but not limited to cutting boards, serving trays, charcuterie boards, bottle openers, coasters, key holders, wall art, ornaments, and keychains. We experiment with over 30 different types of wood to create a unique look in every item, and we don't stain, paint or dye any of the woods, they are all the natural color meant for practical use!

Colors Of The Wood is a woodworking company based in downtown Northville, Michigan. We specialize in kitchen and home decor items for homes, businesses, and special events such as weddings. This includes but is not limited to cutting boards, serving trays, bottle openers, coasters, and end tables. We utilize over 25 unique species of hardwoods to build a wide variety of products. We do not use stains or dyes on any of our pieces in order to deliver safe, natural, and food grade products to our customers. Our selection is not limited to what you see in our store or online portfolio, as we are always looking to expand the patterns and designs that are offered.
