At 56 years old, I’m still chasing the same dream I had at 18. The difference? Today, I’m living it. ❤️
Coming home from Fall 2026 High Point Market my heart is full of gratitude.
I never imagined I would be where I am today.
I started as a young designer working for a large corporate architecture firm in NYC, making $20,000 a year, getting paid once a month, and working 60-hour weeks. I had one dream: to design, travel, and experience the world.
That dream took me to Korea, China and Europe, working on incredible projects overseas. And today, all these years later, I’m running my own design firm with a team of four amazing people, growing every year, and doing what I absolutely LOVE.
And the best part? My passion has never changed.
Today, we have the privilege of designing coastal homes where families will gather, make memories, and enjoy life for generations. These aren’t just beautiful houses. They’re homes meant to be lived in and loved.
High Point Market reminds me why I fell in love with this industry.
The creativity, the craftsmanship, the incredible new collections, the relationships with our vendors, and especially connecting with other designers who share this same passion.
One thing I took away from this market:
There is room for ALL of us to succeed.
No two designers have the same talent, vision, or way of running their businesses. We can learn from each other, support one another, and celebrate each other’s success.
And to my clients and everyone following our journey, know that every trip to market has a purpose. I’m discovering beautiful new pieces, meeting the makers, and finding fresh inspiration for your coastal homes.
And wait until you see what we’re bringing to our projects this spring!
I’m still learning, still growing, still dreaming, and most importantly, still loving every minute of it.
Never stop dreaming. Never stop learning. And never lose your passion for what you love. ❤️
