Weekends have become farm stand, farmer’s market or fresh from the farm pickup and/or delivery, and I’m not mad about it! 🍞🍪🍓🍎🎃🥒🍇

Got my regular fix of sourdough bread and sourdough chocolate chip cookies from Willow Ridge Farm, strawberry fig jam, apple butter, zucchinis, and a huge pumpkin for carving from Serenity Ridge Farmstead. I must mention the freshly picked muscadines I got last week from my friend at Village Creek Honey, LLC! I love those things!

While I was out, did some shopping at my local thrift stores, Ripple Resale Store and ReFound Thrift Store. 🛒

The weather was so nice this weekend! Sunny, cool, and a bit of wind. But it finally felt like fall! 🍂☀️

This may become a regular Saturday routine!🤔👩🏻‍🌾 🌽 🛒🪑

What a great haul and review of the Spring 2026 Farm Crawl! I can’t wait to attend the next one in May 2027! We are so lucky to live amongst the best farms here in Oconee County!

My favorite baked goods are from Willow Ridge Farm owned by Kristi Boggs. I am lucky enough to live right down the road from this farm stand!

I’ve never eaten so much sourdough bread in my life! I never knew how much I loved sourdough until I had Kristi’s! 😋

And it’s not just the bread, she also has sourdough cookies! (And a plethora of other baked deliciousness). Her sourdough chocolate chip cookies are the BEST cookies I’ve ever had in my life! No lie. 🍪 Then my SIL Julie had them after I kept going on about them and she texted me the same thing!!! (Proof in the pics).

For the Spook or Spice Event by Oconee Farm Stand Events, Kristi decorated her stand beautifully with all the spooky but fun Halloween elements. My favorite was the skeleton taking a bubble bath in the cauldron. 😂💀 She also used Halloween themed packaging that really elevated everything.

My friend Laura drove over from Simpsonville today just for this event and wanted to hit Willow Ridge Farm stand first! Can you tell I talk about it a lot? 🍞😊

Y’all, this farm stand sells out fast! It’s a race to get the goods every weekend. It’s just that good! Her baked goods have a little sticker that says “made with love” and you can taste that love! ❤️

I got the opportunity to meet Kristi in person at the Oconee Farm Crawl a couple weeks ago at Keaton Farms. She is a sweetheart and I admire her passion. She obviously puts a lot of care into her work. I’m amazed at all the things she gets done; she’s a very busy lady! Her farm stand also has farm fresh eggs, honey, and firewood!

Really enjoyed the meeting the fine folks at Serenity Ridge Farmstead today for the Spook or Spice Event by Oconee Farm Stand Events! 🎃

They have the cutest farm stand with farm fresh eggs and all kinds of baked goodies, and even home decor! Today they have something very special - baby goats! Ruth and Naomi, 2 week old twin Nigerian Dwarf goats! I’ve never held a goat! I love animals so much, so this was very special for me! It really was an amazing experience! 🐐🐐 And, they have two nicely decorated areas for a Fall photo op!

My friends drove all the way from Simpsonville today to attend the Spook or Spice event. They saw the posters for each participating farm and they were looking for a fun Fall outing, so this was perfect! We are so lucky to have Oconee Farm Stand Events to create and coordinate things like this for us in the OC! 🎉

I got some strawberry fig jam (oh my) and freshly baked brownies! My friends got fresh eggs, sourdough bread, brownies, banana bread, and a free tiny Jesus! ✝️ How cool is that?

We had a nice chat with the owners, Randy and Keegan. It’s wonderful to meet good people in our community - especially our farmers, who work very hard to bring us good food we can trust! Y’all get out there if you can! They do have their self serve stand open every weekend.
