Drips Botanical Elements houseplants, plant accessories including pots, soil, terrariums, and crystals. It will be a botanical creative space, filled with all things green.

(drips) is transitioning with an urge to reconnect people to nature by creating immersive, plant and moss filled terrariums, installations, and creative plantings. Since day one, I have worked to develop roots with people by creating an inclusive space, and sharing our mutual love through coffee, art, and music. As we move forward, I hope to continue growing our established human roots through our

now developing plant roots. We strive to be stewards of the earth and nurture people as they find their connection with nature. The products (drips) will carry are; houseplants, plant accessories including handmade pottery, plant stands, soil, terrariums, crystals, herbs, teas, coffee(beans), ritual tools, and other lifestyle items for the earth/plant spirited.

Happy Friday everyone! We are open 10-6 today, 10-5 Saturday, and 11-4 Sunday! We have been adding more items to our garage sale tables from the shop, and from our home! We are even putting some plants on them now! We do have a lot of plants, and of course our beautiful terrariums! Also, all isopods are still $5 off each culture! Good morning! We appreciate all the love you gave us yesterday with our announcement! Y’all really do mean a lot to us!

Now onto the news of today! We have some “garage sale” tables set up with pots, decor, and other odds & ends from the shop, and our home. We also have a free pile that we keep adding to.

In the photo is an up close of a Ball Python. We know some of you don’t like nope ropes, so we went with his pattern photo. If you want a better look at him, let us know. His name is Twist, and along with some other animals we need to find some homes. He is friendly but is also 5ft+. He is about 8-9 years old.

With all of that, we are open until 6! Stop in and find some great plants, critters, and whatever else you might want to take from our jungle!

Tres started (drips) in 2013 as a community focused coffee shop funded by his art and built to bring people together through coffee, music, and creativity.

When COVID hit in 2020, we closed our doors. To keep (drips) alive, Becki and Tres sold bags of Dark Matter Coffee and terrariums in restaurant parking lots. Later that year, we reopened as Drips Botanical Elements, shifting our focus to plants, terrariums, and well curated makers goods. All rooted in care, creativity, and connection with nature.

We’ve called Vinton Street home for the past three years, but with our lease ending on July 31, 2025, we decided not to renew with the landlord.

As we were searching for a new location, we were having a hard time finding a space that we liked, and that fit our budget. We felt like we would be settling for something that wasn’t perfect for our growth. While we were searching, we also learned our greenhouse partner would no longer be selling houseplants.

Around the same time, a weekend trip to St. Louis sparked something new in us. We met someone that ran a commercial real estate company, and hit it off. He ended up inviting us to open Drips Botanical Elements in one of his properties. The space is in the Central West End, and is 2 doors down from Left Bank Books. Tres worked at LBB back in 1994–95, so being invited into a neighborhood that shaped him years ago felt incredibly full circle.

While it’s really hard to say goodbye to you(our community), we are excited for this next chapter! We’re re-inspired and ready to grow personally, creatively, and as a business in a new city, with the same roots!
