I can't stand to throw away any plants so this spring, when I found myself with a surplus of tumeric rhizomes, I planted them anywhere I had an opening. This is about half of what I got growing. Lol

Set up my canopy with weights and a gust immediately scooted it across the parking lot so I had to take it down. Feeling a little exposed without it. Lol beautiful day for a farmers market. Come on out.

It must be a sign of getting older but I'm really excited about these new display racks.

The boys are home from freezer camp. I'm sure we will enjoy them even more now.

Last year I decided to try an experiment. I went into my garden and dug up a jalapeno pepper plant and a heritage yellow bell pepper. I potted them in large tubs and brought them into the greenhouse. All winter they looked pretty sickly but when I set the tubs out in the spring they exploded. The yellow bell looks like a small tree and is covered with peppers. I just harvested the jalapenos and got 2 six inch flower pots full. I also left all the small pepper for later. If you're wondering what's growing with my jalapenos, I dropped a single vine of swedish ivy while I was transplanting some in December and it's gotten huge. They do well together so I figured I would leave it. Highly recommend overwinter peppers if you have the room.
