Something close to my heart that I wanted to share with you all.

As some of you may know, my dad has been battling stage 4 esophageal cancer, and our family has been navigating a difficult season.

This Friday, there will be a benefit concert to help support my dad, featuring The Puffers.

There will be a love offering, but please know there is absolutely no obligation to give. We would simply love to see you there! Having people show up, spend the evening with us, and support our family in any way they can would mean more than words can say.

If you’re local, we would love for you to join us! And if you can’t make it, sharing this post would mean so much, too.

Since I’ve recently had a lot of new followers, I wanted to introduce myself to those of you who don’t know me!

I’m Renee, owner of Cottontail Craft Co! I started my business years ago as a way to help supplement our income. In 2023, I became a mama, and my husband and I agreed that we didn’t want someone else raising our daughter. So, I began working just one day a week at the animal hospital where I’ve worked since 2013 and then focused more time and energy on growing my business. Then, in August of this year, we welcomed our sweet boy, and our family grew by two little feet!

We’ve made a lot of sacrifices to make this work, but we truly believe it’s worth it! I know having a parent stay home isn’t possible for every family, but it’s something we both felt was right for ours.

When you shop small, you’re supporting a mama’s dream of being home with her babies. A mama who wants to be there for the little moments, the milestones, and all the firsts. You’re supporting someone who works during nap times, stays up late creating new things, and pours her heart into every little detail. Someone who dreams of building something of her own while still being present for the two little people who call her Mama.

Every purchase, share, and kind word helps me get one step closer to that dream, and I’m so incredibly grateful for every single one of you who supports my little business. It truly means so much!
