This season feels different. šš
I went out to gather eggs and had to laugh a little at this nest. Feathers everywhere, eggs piled on top of one another, a bit of a messā¦and somehow it felt pretty representative of life lately. š
Weāre in that strange season of raising older kids and realizing the years of everyone being under one roof arenāt endless. Theyāre becoming their own people, and somedayānot nearly as far away as it once seemedātheyāll start leaving the nest weāve spent all these years building. šš„°
Yet somehow, while theyāre growing up, weāre still growing, and building too.
Building businesses šØšØ, dreaming new dreams š±, finding ourselves back at the homeschool table š, and trying to breathe some life back into a homestead that has admittedly been a little neglected along the way. š«
There are also dreams for the next chapter that I donāt quite have words for yet.
Some days this life feels incredibly full. ā¤ļø
Other days I feel a lot like the feathers in this pictureāscattered in twelve different directions. (New name ? ) š
Maybe itās all okay⦠after all, weāre ..
Still nurturing.
Still building.
Still growing.
No one ever said the nest had to look perfect for good things to be growing inside of itā¦. š¤
