My dad’s a carpenter. For my birthday he sent me a dovetail saw, and my parents made their own version of our renovation videos. 🪚

Anything I know how to do with my hands, I learned from watching him. my mom took a stab at filming it the way Jenny and I do.

It took me weeks to design and build our bottom cabinets. This time I just talked to AI and it designed the uppers in about 8 minutes. 🤯

I dictated the plan to muse, pasted it into Claude Code running SketchUp, and watched it build the whole thing. Three rounds of edits later, the pantry became a skinny fridge with a lift-up door on top.
