Complete custom gambrel shed build, taking the project from the initial framing stage through the finished structure.

This build started with constructing the pressure-treated floor system and properly framing the base to create a solid, level foundation for the shed. From there, the wall framing was laid out and built, followed by the installation of the exterior wall sheathing.

The gambrel-style roof was then carefully framed to create the distinctive two-slope roof design, with each section properly laid out and tied together for a strong, symmetrical structure. Attention was given to keeping the walls square, the roof lines straight, and all framing properly supported throughout the build.

The project continued through the complete exterior construction, including the roof system, sheathing, siding, trim, doors, and all finishing details needed to turn the framed structure into a fully functional and finished shed.

Every stage was built from the ground up—from the floor framing and wall structure to the gambrel roof and final exterior details—creating a durable, clean, custom-built shed designed to last.

Custom Pressure-Treated Wood & Metal Railing

For this project, the homeowner wanted to incorporate some leftover metal pipe from his own metalworking business into the design. Instead of traditional wood balusters, we installed the metal piping between the pressure-treated wood rails, creating a clean custom look while putting the client’s existing material to good use.

The stair railing was built with pressure-treated lumber and custom-fitted metal pipe balusters. The homeowner is also adding matching metal corner pieces to the ends of each stair riser, tying the metal accents throughout the stair system together.

At the top of the deck, we used a different baluster design with 1x4 pressure-treated boards, giving the upper railing its own look while still complementing the custom metal-and-wood stair railing.

A combination of pressure-treated wood, custom metal details, and different railing styles to give this deck a unique, personalized finish.

🚨 THIS DECK NEEDED A SERIOUS REBUILD 🚨

From DEMO ➡️ REBUILD ➡️ FINAL RESULT 🔨

We added additional posts and a solid support beam underneath to eliminate the sagging in the middle of the deck.

We also removed the old 3’ side stairs and used that space to extend the deck — then added a NEW 5’ wide staircase right in th center. 👌
