There was an entire bathroom inside Vasilios's Rockville home that his family had not been able to use for a long time 🛀
It was outdated, nonfunctioning, and had essentially become wasted space inside a basement that had much more potential.
Eventually, he decided it was time to change that.
Interestingly enough, Vasilius first found HCA Construction through Instagram.
Like most homeowners making a decision this important, he did not immediately choose the first contractor he spoke with. He received a couple of other estimates and compared his options before deciding who he felt comfortable bringing into his home.
For him, one of the things that made the difference was having Cesar, the company owner, personally come out to look at the project.
They walked through the bathroom, discussed what needed to be done, and talked through how the remodel would be approached.
That initial experience gave Vasilios enough confidence in our team that what began as a bathroom remodel eventually expanded into work on other portions of the basement as well.
And that is something we never take lightly.
Once construction began, our team focused on the things homeowners should be able to expect from the company working inside their home: showing up on time, paying attention to the details, communicating clearly, and completing the work without making the process more complicated than it needs to be.
But the part of his story we really love is what the finished project means for the home now.
Before the remodel, there was a bathroom downstairs that simply could not be used.
Now, it is functional again.
If guests stay over, the bathroom is there for them.
If the family decides to use the basement differently in the future, they have that flexibility.
And most importantly, an area of the house that had been neglected for years is now usable space that actually contributes to the home.
