This previously completed side-yard project started with grass removal, clearing, and careful grading. We’re sharing the stages so homeowners can see the work that happens before the finished pictures.

If it slides out easily in several places, the weatherstripping may be worn or compressed. Check the top, latch side, and hinge side.

If the door still drafts after new weatherstripping, the fit or alignment may need attention.

CENTRAL TEXAS HOMEOWNER REMINDER

It may feel like summer today, but conditions are expected to change quickly overnight. The current Round Rock/Austin forecast calls for a much cooler and windy Friday, with north-wind gusts around 35–40 mph in parts of the area.

A quick five-minute check tonight can prevent a headache tomorrow:

• Secure patio umbrellas, lightweight furniture, decorations, and trash cans.
• Make sure fence gates latch completely and check for loose boards or hardware.
• Move loose branches and debris away from drains and gutter downspouts.
• Check exterior doors for worn weatherstripping or gaps before the cooler air arrives.

No freeze is expected—just a sharp temperature drop and strong wind. Keep it simple and take care of the loose items first.
