Interiors are never crafted or created from one person or one program. Itā€™s a series of collaborative efforts by many people to create a seamless space and environment for our guests to enjoy. And we create to do just that - enjoy. We can only hope that you enjoy them as much in real life as we enjoy creating them!

We would like to formally introduce, Daisy Margarita Bar. losangeles

Our perspective:
Daisy Margarita Bar delivers an elevated Mexican cantina experience to LAā€™s Sherman Oaks neighborhood. To transform the 100-seat space on the busy Ventura Boulevard thoroughfare, Proprietor Matt Egan tapped Alexa Nafisi-Movaghar of Adean Studios who also designed Eganā€™s Los Feliz restaurant, MĆrate. With the traditional vaquero as
a beacon of inspiration, Adean utilized mixed textures and layered colors to create a rustic Mexican tavern experience thatā€™s equally glamorous and lowbrow.

Oil painted portraits, taxidermy, neon signage and other vintage finds, each hand-selected by Egan and sourced predominantly from Mexico, fill the dimly lit space. A custom-built jukebox serves as a focal point, accented by fringe, leather and interior wood paneling characteristic of a dive bar setting. In its design approach Adean upcycled elements from the former tenant including the existing wood, tables and boothsā€“ā€“retrofitted to align with the spaceā€™s new vision. Adean applied a bold color palette of vibrant greens and yellows, balanced by the buildingā€™s previous hacienda detailing and terra cotta accents.
