A little community note from our family…

Over the last few years, the Cactus Shadows High School band had become pretty small. But this year, thanks in large part to an awesome incoming freshman class, the pep band has grown to around 20 students, including our daughter on trumpet!

Mr. Cowan has been her band director since 4th grade and is now leading both the middle and high school programs. There’s some real momentum behind rebuilding the Cactus Shadows band program, and our family has gotten pretty invested, Alisha is serving as Band Booster President this year.

So we’re putting out a call to our Cave Creek community: Were you a Cactus Shadows band member? Do you still play an instrument? Come sit in with the pep band at a football game or upcoming event!

We’d love to reconnect with former Falcon musicians and local musicians who want to support these kids. And if you know a former CSHS band member, tag them or send this their way!

Arizona pool season doesn’t have to end when summer does.

A pool heat pump can heat AND cool your water, giving you more comfortable pool days in the spring, fall and even during those way too hot Arizona summer months.

*Warmer water when temperatures drop
*Cooler water when summer gets brutal
*Energy-efficient heating
*More months to enjoy your pool

Want to extend your swim season? Just ask us about heat pump options for your pool.

Did anyone else feel that slightest cool breeze last night?

Cooler Arizona temps are right around the corner, which means less chemical demand, filters can finally breathe a little easier… and wait, what’s that?

🔥 POOL HEATER SEASON IS COMING. 🔥

Thinking about adding a heater, replacing an old one, or getting yours ready for the season?

Lock in our lower off-season heater rates now, just ask!

Swampy to Sparkling
A fresh drain and clean can completely transform a pool, not just how it looks, but how it performs. Arizona’s hard water, heat, and evaporation slowly concentrate minerals over time, and eventually the pool starts fighting chemistry no matter how much you throw at it.

Sometimes the best fix is starting fresh.

This one came out beautiful.

One of our favorite parts of this business is helping customers actually enjoy their pools and spas again.

A customer recently told us this was the first time in 10 years they’d truly been able to enjoy their spa this time of year without relying heavily on propane.

At AZ Pool Keeper, we believe pool service is about more than chemicals and equipment, it’s about helping families actually enjoy their backyard again.

Thank you to all of our amazing customers for trusting us with your pools and spas. We appreciate you more than you know.

I've been reading a lot of job ads for Pool Techs lately, and honestly...they all sound exactly the same. So I thought, why not write the real version?

This isn't our official job posting, it's meant to be funny, but also a more realistic look at what being a pool tech actually involves. I could go on and on, but this covers the basics.

If you've worked in the pool industry, you'll probably relate. If you haven't, this might make you think twice...or make you want to prove you can handle it. 🥲
