Knowledge drives decisions, either today or even in 5 years.

Just like the stock market goes up and down, and financial advisors make decisions accordingly, home values will also go up and down in value, and you have the power to make decisions.

What should you do with this information?

➡️ You can complete this simple exercise and then do nothing - which is fine. You still have the knowledge.

➡️ You could meet with your tax accountant before the end of the year and evaluate how to reduce your tax liability. (*It is well documented that Real Estate is one of the best ways to reduce the tax liability.)

➡️ You could meet with me, a Real Estate advisor and look at options for investments.

➡️ You could take out a HELOC, to have access to your equity and as an emergency fund.

➡️ Or you could do absolutely nothing.

The point isn’t that you need to make a move. It’s that you deserve to know what you own, what it’s worth, and what options it gives you.

Your home is more than a place to live. It’s an asset. And understanding that asset puts you in a better position to make informed decisions — today, next year, or five years from now.

You don’t have to make a move. But you should know your numbers.
