This is Feathers, part of my Blue Heron collection and one of my favorite things I have made this year.
The entire collection was inspired by the color palette of a blue heron — that deep dusty teal, soft blush, warm sandy neutral and sage. Nature just puts together color combinations that you could never plan on purpose and lately I have been completely obsessed with finding that kind of inspiration outside.
I created three full collections this year and honestly life just kept getting in the way of sharing any of them until now. Better late than never.
This one in particular would be so beautiful in a bedroom — the palette is just inherently calming and I think that’s exactly what you want to wake up to. Original abstract expressionism, large format painting, available now at jensandersart.com link in bio
