❤️ COMPASSION CLEAN UPDATE ❤️
I spent four hours back at our Dixon Compassion Clean today, and we made some MAJOR headway!
Just a little refresher on this home — Mom is physically unable to keep up with everything on her own, and over time, things simply became overwhelming and got a little out of hand. So instead of trying to tackle the entire house at once, I’ve been working through it one room at a time and getting things reset to a place where the family can manage them again.
So far, I’ve deep cleaned the kitchen, tackled half of the kitchen floor grout, cleaned the dining room baseboards and removed a whole lot of accumulated dog hair and dust.
Today was the office/master closet! 🙌
I reorganized the space, folded a mountain of laundry, got everything hung up and accessible again, and got that room back to being functional. One more room checked off the list. ❤️
After Dixon, I headed to Milledgeville to do the monthly maintenance clean at one of our previous Compassion Clean homes. I give the bathroom and kitchen a good once-over and take care of some of the things that are difficult for him to keep up with on his own.
And truthfully, Compassion Clean extends beyond the actual cleaning. I’m at that home four or five times most weeks. Helping keep up with laundry, making store runs when needed, and sometimes simply putting eyes on him and making sure he's okay.
THAT is what your support makes possible.
As for our next big Compassion Clean project, I’m still working on it! I’ve reached out to several applicants. A couple haven’t responded, and there are others I need to do a little more research on before making a decision. So bear with me. I want to make sure these sponsored hours go where they can truly make a difference.

Whether we hit all 150 or not, I’m drawing our winners the evening of October 1st so our beef winner can choose exactly how they want their beef processed.
But MAN, I would LOVE to fill all 150. ❤️
Every single bubble helps fund the hours I spend doing this work - the big transformations, the maintenance visits, and all of the little things in between that help someone stay on their feet after we leave.
