One of our past projects is being utilized to make a difference in our community! Face shields are being created at the University of Tampa's Fab Lab for distribution to healthcare professionals. Thank you for your contribution!

In response to the community’s shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE), The University of Tampa is now making protective face shields for health care workers — including 100 shields going to Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg — using the tools from its University Of Tampa Fab Lab, digital fabrication lab.

“The appreciation that I've received from the few individuals I've donated to is heartwarming,” said Emma Quintana, coordinator of UT’s Fab Lab (a workshop equipped with tech-enabled tools for students in the arts to foster creativity and innovation located inside R.K. Bailey Art Studios). “We are all doing our best for others during this time by socially isolating and modifying our daily routines, our workdays and our academic lives. I'm giving back in my own my way, but so are many others.”

Beacon College - Academic Center (Design Proposal)

We are proud to have been a part of the “Kicks For Bricks” Gala hosted by Beacon College on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019 at Lake Receptions in Mount Dora, Florida. The event was a fundraiser for the school’s capital campaign to build a state-of-the-art academic center. To give the audience a glimpse of the campaign's vision, the school commissioned our team to produce a 3D fly-by/walk-through animation of the proposed design for the building, which was unveiled during the evening.

Our sincerest gratitude to Beacon College for continuing to put their faith in our team and for allowing us to be a part of their expansion to better serve their students and community. We would also like to thank all the sponsors of the event for your generosity towards such a significant cause. Happy Saturday everyone! For many architects and fellow designers, days off mean one thing: project time! Here in our office, we have a couple of repurposed projects that have the materials' original use still very much apparent, adding another layer of character to their use.

At the top is salvaged wood from the late 1800's repurposed as a bench. At the bottom are glass samples çollected over the years from previous projects, repurposed as glass accent panels.

Anybody starting any projects this weekend?
