Ten day kitchen solutions came in banged out this kitchen. They did not leave any termination on the vent for this kitchen hood, which I repaired the soft and facia last fall, the light wasn't working then either, and they put it off until now as he would really like to have a light over the stove..
They also installed incorrect bulbs, which the homeowner followed suit with for replacement since they were not left the manual from the manufacturer!
Over time and use, the heat from the bulb burnt the ends of the plastic holder & melted the wire, which subsequently melted the wires and burned out the circuit board. I shall go on to say the manufacturer has also discontinued many of the parts. Nkw, the only best option is to replace the entire hood vent fan/ light assembly..
