Simply Sam Organization + Design

A little order goes a long way. 🤎

Same hangers, everything in its place, and a closet that feels as good as it looks.

This is the kind of detail that makes us love what we do.

Instead of shoving pans and cutting boards wherever they’ll fit, we can design a home so everything has a place from the beginning. This built-in organizer above the fridge keeps those awkward, everyday kitchen pieces easy to grab, easy to put away, and completely out of the way.

Good interior design isn’t just about how a space looks. It’s about making your everyday life feel a little easier, too. Getting to create that for our clients is one of our favorite parts of the job. 🤍

It’s so easy for a fridge to turn into a “just toss it in and deal with it later” space… and before you know it, you’re digging past expired sauces, duplicate groceries, and food that gets forgotten in the back. We see it all the time. The truth is, your fridge isn’t just storage, it’s one of the most used systems in your home and it should work with your daily habits, not against them.

For this client, we focused on creating a clear, functional system using tailored containers that give every category a designated home. Think grab-and-go snacks, easy meal prep zones, and visible groupings that make it obvious what you have and what you’re running low on. When everything has a place, there’s no second guessing, no overbuying, and way less waste.

Using bins and containers in your fridge isn’t just about making it look pretty (even though we love that part). It’s about creating structure so your family can maintain it without thinking twice. You open the fridge, you see exactly what you need, and everything flows more smoothly from grocery shopping to daily meals.

A well-organized fridge saves time, reduces stress, and keeps your home running more efficiently. It’s one of the simplest upgrades that makes a huge impact on your everyday life.

If you’re in Utah and feel like your fridge is constantly getting out of control, this is exactly the kind of system we love to create for our clients.

As a full-service design company, every space we create is built to function exactly as it’s meant to. This basement kitchenette was designed to support real life, serving as a hub for snacks, hosting, and everything in between. Positioned between the indoor basketball court, large TV lounge, and a hidden kids’ gaming room, it naturally became the center point for the entire lower level.

We incorporated pocket doors to keep traffic flowing without interruption, especially with kids constantly moving through the space. When open, it’s fully accessible and ready for use. When closed, everything tucks away seamlessly, keeping the area feeling clean, intentional, and ready for whatever the family needs next.

So many of our clients will come to us and say they just designed a home or just moved into a newer build and they realized they have no storage or the storage they do have somehow is working against them and always getting disorganized. It’s a huge issue when builders build a home aesthetics but not functionality.

This project we have did both. When we go into the planning phase we always think about yes the end product and how it will look but also how it will function for a family and the daily. When picking the companies you want to work with, make sure they do BOTH! You will not regret it.

When we say professional organization is about function, this is exactly what we mean. We love getting to refresh the snack drawer for the kids because having a grab and go system completely changes the way a home runs. No more digging, no more mess, no more constant restocking stress. Everything has a place, everything is easy to see, and it actually stays that way.

In so many Utah homes we work in, the kitchen becomes the hub for everything. After school chaos, busy mornings, late night snacks. Creating a designated snack zone that is simple, accessible, and easy to maintain makes a bigger impact than people expect. It is not just about making it look good, it is about making everyday life smoother.

We design these spaces with real life in mind. Clear containers, intentional zones, and systems that kids can actually use without undoing the whole drawer. Functional luxury is making your home work for you, not against you.

If your kitchen drawers feel cluttered or you are constantly reorganizing the same spaces over and over again, it is probably not you, it is the system.

We offer professional home organization services in Salt Lake City and throughout Utah, helping create spaces that are both beautiful and practical for real everyday living.
