Back in 2024, I had the honor of coming back to Eastern CT State University as an alumni to be scenic charge artist with Michaela Nelson for the university’s production of Eurydice. We were able to work with some amazing students and teach them as we also learned more than we ever have.
This was the biggest project I have ever done, and it was one of the hardest. The curved walls were a new challenge to me, especially with the geometry-focused design. So. Much. Math.
I am so proud of the work that went into this piece and how it turned out. I loved working with the metallic copper, and creating the gradient on the floor. The design by Kristen Morgan was beautiful and I’m so glad I was a part of bringing it to life.
