**A complete deck transformation — built to last, built to be enjoyed. 🏡**

This project was much more than simply replacing a deck. We completely rebuilt and extended the existing structure, addressing deteriorated structural components and upgrading the space into a beautiful, functional outdoor living area.

The project included:

🔨 Complete deck rebuild and 10' extension
🪵 Replacement of rotten posts and joists
🏗️ New 6x6 structural posts and framing
💧 Under-deck gutter system for a cleaner, more usable space below
✨ Premium composite decking
🛡️ Aluminum railing system
📐 Structural improvements throughout the deck

From the framing and structural work underneath to the finished decking and railing above, every part of this project was built with durability, function, and long-term quality in mind.

And apparently, the homeowners couldn't wait for us to officially call it "finished" before bringing the patio furniture back out. 😂 We can't blame them, once the space starts looking this good, you want to enjoy it!

We’ve been a little quiet on this basement remodel lately — not because work stopped, but because we’ve been busy working for other clients and keeping projects moving 👷‍♂️🔨

Now that things are slowing down enough to catch up on sharing this transformation, we wanted to post some of the behind-the-scenes details that went into this project.

Today’s update: waterproof uncoupling membrane installation before tile 👌

Not the flashy part of a remodel, but one of the most important. This system helps with durability, crack prevention, and long-term performance — especially in basement spaces.
