Minnesota State Society – Wreaths Across America THIS SATURDAY December 14, 8:30 am

Join the state society (and many other volunteers) at Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday, December 14 for this annual wreath-laying event. We will meet inside the main gate at 8:30 am, at the intersection of Eisenhower Dr. and King Dr. (near the Administration Building). A sign will mark our group. Please arrive early and allow significant time to go through security. The security lines to get into the cemetery typically are very long for this event, but move fast.

RSVP is not required but would be helpful for coordination, i.e., ensuring we have everyone before proceeding further into the cemetery for wreath laying. Please RSVP to [email protected].

REMEMBER the fallen… HONOR those who serve… TEACH our children the value of freedom.
Welcome to the Arlington National Cemetery Wreath’s Across America location page.
On Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 8:30 AM, volunteers will lay 253,000 veterans’ wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery just outside our nation’s Capital. These wreaths symbolize a commitment to Remember and Honor our nation’s veterans through the laying of wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each veteran aloud.
As one of the largest national cemeteries in the United States, our goal of covering every veteran’s grave with a wreath is lofty and requires a team of dedicated volunteers. Please read more about how you can volunteer and contribute to the Wreaths Across America effort at Arlington National Cemetery.

Admins- please remove if this isn't allowed. Hi fellow Minnesotans! I am moving and downsizing and I have a twice worn MN Wild Fleece Jacket. Asking $25 OBO. Its in great condition. Its a juniors size 16/18 which also fits like a women's medium. Hate to let it go but I just don't wear it, I stick with my Wild jersey. Anywho, if anyone is interested, would make a nice man giftie. Happy to send pics if anyone is interested. Happy Holidays to everyone!
Anyone have big plans for the Twins game tomorrow night? I was thinking of holding court at Duffy’s, but am easily swayed.
This morning Veterans from Minnesota on an Honor Flight to tour monuments around D.C. I absolutely love volunteering for Honor Flights! It's so moving to see their faces light up with excitement and emotion when they see people supporting and appreciating their service. Truly a blessing! #minnesotaveterans #loveourveterans
