It was an honor to be invited to come in and present at the Rotary Club of Fairfax members luncheon today. The topic of my seminar was "How to Get Organized & Be Efficient During High Stress Times", which was very well received, and followed by very positive feedback from a great audience. Thank you again for allowing me this opportunity to present to your members today.
Not only was it good to be back in Fairfax, home to my Alma Mater, GMU, but it was also really nice to see that this service-based club has the same blue and gold colors as my service-based fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega!

I met with a new client yesterday for the first time and we had a marathon session to clear out his space. He started by telling me his master bedroom and closet were such a mess for years and that he wasn't able to sleep well at nights with all the clutter around him, and that he woke up feeling drained and congested every morning, even though he used a humidifier. He said he just wanted to run away from his mess and spend as little time as possible in his room.
Then this morning he texted me first thing to say that he actually slept better last night than he had in a long time. He said he felt more well rested than ever, even though he had less sleep than usual, and he went in to work with this great new energy.
I'm a firm believer that it's all about quality of sleep, not quantity of sleep hours. :) It felt great to wake up to my client's positive text this morning, and now I can carry with me, throughout my day, the satisfaction that I had helped one more person overcome the clutter and energy-draining monster!

I was in the process of packing and moving into a new apartment, visiting my sick father in the hospital in between my clients and my son's school activities, and trying to keep it together for the sake of my young son.
