The Backyard Habitat Certification led class on wild edibles was superb 😚👌
Next class is in November - watercolor botanicals.

It is with PROFOUND and overwhelming sadness we must announce the passing of Lois the pig. She was some pig; intelligent, tender, and I was deeply bonded to her. The grief is overwhelming, but I suppose grief is the price we pay for love. Thanks to Wild Wonders Veterinary Hospital for their compassion and professionalism in helping her leave this mortal coil. And deep thanks to our neighbors Get To-Gather Farm for dashing over at the drop of a hat to help bury her with a three tractor salute.

We will have a celebration of life for her on Oct. 31 at the farm, more info to come. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

🍏 We had a heck of a good time at Vancouver Public Works US Old Apple Tree Festival.
🌳 200 years in the making 🤩!!
And thanks to EVERYONE who came out to support the emergence of our downtown Vancouver union 👯 with Matt & Kim Sievert

With advancements in modern medicine, we plan to reach 200 years one day. Jkjk 😬

We will also have a booth at the Old Apple Tree 🍎 festival on Saturday: 200 years! Gonna try to make pine needle brooms 🧹 for your tiny witches and elves. 🧝
It is a FREE event and Vancouver Bee Project will be there with their native seed library.
