🌱 Wheatland-Bear River FFA: Growing Skills, Growing Leaders! 🌼
What a busy month! Our FFA members have been putting their skills into action through:
🌸 Making Flower Clubs and planting herb gardens for students to take home.
🌱 Mentoring 200+ preschool and kindergarten Little Buddies from Wheatland Elementary.
💚 Building connections while mentoring students from Virginia School.
🌿 Keeping Falcon Gardens open daily while growing plants to meet community needs.
🎃 Returning weekly to Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm to care for the flower boxes our members created.
👏 Held our first FFA meeting of the year with over 175 members present
🐧 Started learning about the Jr Duck Stamp contest
🚜 Worked the Yuba Sutter Farm Day helping 3rd graders learn about Agriculture
😃 Started Agriscience fair experiments for competition in the spring
Through it all, our students are developing leadership, communication, teamwork, horticultural skills, and a heart for serving their community. 💙💛
We’re growing more than plants—we’re growing the next generation of leaders! 🌱
