15 Years! Countertop Concepts opened it first showroom in Haysville back in 2010. While we were cleaning out the Derby shop last summer and preparing to bring fabrication in-house, we ran across this article. It’s fun to look back at where we’ve been and dream about what 15 years from now might look like.

It’s been nearly 3yrs since Don sold Countertop Concepts and Chad Mowdy took over leading the company. Under Chad’s leadership, we’ve opened up a showroom in the heart of Wichita, brought fabrication in-house…and a few Deer mounts have shown up in our offices!

Routering out sinks to start the week! Did you know we have to adjust the speed and depth of our router bits and blades for different materials? Granites and Quartzites tend to be harder materials, while Quartz is smoother and quicker!

FABRICATOR! [Warning: Long Post Ahead!] Countertop Concepts has been described in many different ways, but as many of you know, we've never been able to call ourselves fabricators...until NOW (we're cutting all of our own stone in-house!!!)! At the start of 2024, we embarked on a journey to transform our business into a full service templater/fabricator/installer. In May this became a reality, and we've spent the last several months refining our fabrication capability and tuning our CNC machines to run with perfection. After 14 years in business, we're incredibly excited about this next chapter and we thank each and every one of you for your support and business. We know we'll continue to deliver the highest quality products at prices you'd expect...now, even faster than before. Thank you! The CCW Team ALSO!
