One thing I’ve learned over the last year is that most people operate under the do whatever now, ask for forgiveness later method. That is not me or my business. I made sure I got my ducks in a row, paid all the fees, and stayed principled the whole time. We got our initial conditional use permit after nine months and many many dollars. I still have a few more steps to take to get the farms final agritourism permit but that not something I’m afraid of. It’s something I welcome. I want our community to know I’m not against paying my dues and I’m not against ensuring the experiences folks have on my property are on the up and up. Whether others feel or behave the same way is not my business. But I am for sure going into 2027 knowing I crossed my t’s and dotted my i’s and I am so excited to provide the best legit agritourism experience in Josephine county, Oregon. Please, is you haven’t already followed my page or hit me up with questions, do! I am here for it! Lots of love, Emily

Advanced notice to tune in at some point this October(?)! 🎙️ I sat down/walked with the Go Wildly podcast to talk about how SOL Revolution came to be, my connection with the outdoors, permaculture on one acre, what's next for the farm, and a whole lot of personal stuff. Link in bio/comments. Give it a listen and let us know what resonates!
