Our Story
Nothing makes a big impact in home design like Cortesi Home's accent furniture. In the past 16 years Cortesi home has come a long way from a small family business to a savvy corporation with distribution and manufacturing operations. It began its initial journey when the founder came over as an immigrant from Italy in 1989. He had an artistic passion for home décor and a vision of the possibilities in this new country. Gaining valuable experience working in a national retail furniture store he decided to open up his own furniture shop in the Chicagoland area in 1997. His understanding of the trends propelled his success and soon he and his son opened up 2 additional locations. With our continued success and the emergence of e-commerce retail, we decided it was better to use our own experience and trend knowledge to directly impact customers with our own line of home furnishings rather than depending on other companies to do it for us.
