🚨 SUCCESSFUL RESPONSE | SUSPECTS DETAINED IN MODDER EAST, SPRINGS 🚨

On 20 October 2026, at approximately 20:10, the Lapua Strike Force response team noticed a distress message posted on a community WhatsApp group reporting a break-in in Modder East, Springs.

Our response team immediately reacted to the alert and proceeded to the scene, where they encountered two suspects allegedly attempting to remove a dishwasher from the property.

When confronted, the suspects claimed that they only wanted to use the lavatory. However, the circumstances at the scene raised serious concerns.

The two suspects were subsequently detained in connection with the incident, on suspicion of unlawful entry and trespassing.

Another example of community cooperation and rapid response making a difference!

◼️ REPORT:

Abovementioned members received information regarding a Hijacked Motorcycle moving on the gravel road towards Modder east Springs from Daveyton Benoni.

The team followed the location given by the tracking unit as the bike was in rough terrain.

Teams converged onto the location and recovered the bike where the suspects started to strip the parts off to find the tracking unit.

Suspects fled toward N12 in the direction of Alliance as the teams approached the rough terrain.

Further investigations are underway and Motorcycle booked in at SAPS Springs

◼️ REPORT:

Abovementioned members received information regarding a person that was hijacked and then kidnapped in mamelodi.

The team followed up on the information, which led them to lotus gardens where the victim vehicle was recovered.

Members followed up additional information from eye witneses who identified a white Hyundai venue that was used in the Kidnapping.

Further information led the teams to attridgeville area where the Hyundai with false plates were spotted inside a property. Members breached the premises and found 2 suspects along with the victim in a back room of the property. The suspects was found with a unlisenced fire arm with serial number filed off.

Both suspects were detained and handed over to attridgeville saps and the victim was met by members of his family.

All necessary role players attended the scene. Further investigation is underway to link the suspects other Kidnapping cases.

COMMUNITY SECURITY IN ACTION – DERSLEY PARK

◼️ REPORT:

Abovementioned members received information regarding a business break-in that occurred in the Sunnyside area on 15 September 2026.

The team followed up on the information, which led them to the Eersterust area.

Members maintained observation on the identified suspect vehicle and, when an opportunity presented itself, a search of the identified property was conducted.

During the search, 1 x suspect was found on the premises and detained.

Upon further investigation, members discovered a Toyota Hilux on the premises which was confirmed to have been stolen in the Brooklyn area.

Members continued with the investigation and identified a second premises. Upon breaching the second premises, a Toyota Prado was located.

The Toyota Prado was also confirmed to be stolen as per a Brooklyn CAS.

Further investigation led to the arrest of a second suspect.

All necessary role players attended the scene. Further investigation is underway to link the suspects and recovered vehicles to the business break-in and other cases.
