Thatā€™s a wrap folks.

90,000 steps in China. We hope you enjoyed the reels so far, hereā€™s some of the clips that didnā€™t make the cut aka the bloopers!

Soon, weā€™ll try to do a proper wrap up video to share the real downlow on what we learnt about sourcing in China and whether itā€™s worth the trip.

Stay tuned, until then - goodnight šŸ’¤

If you know us, youā€™ll know we LOVE designing kitchens and wardrobes so we took a quick peak into a couple of displays on our way to the airport!

Surprisingly the wow factor came less from the finishes and more from how intelligent the designs were. Hidden hardware, clever storage systems, kinetic moving elements and playful details that gave a little element of delight. Conclusion: static furniture is boring, kinetic is the way forward šŸ˜ƒ

Wonderful reminder that great design is about far more than what meets the eye.

Day 3 of our trip had us back Louvre Mall, checking out even more amazing products. I have to say, the wood details on some of these pieces are just stunning!

Then we made our way to our agentā€™s office to go over our selections to check measurements for the first batch of products we shortlisted. It was a long day, but really productive and decisions should speed up now some of the key anchoring decisions have been taken šŸ¤žšŸ½
