“The best result isn’t asking for AI to come up with something from scratch. It’s you giving an almost complete thing to refine it.”

The four designers, Zaki Hamdan of Luxe Build, Caio Xerrialves of BLAK Creative Studio , Yasmin Farahmandy of Yasmin Farahmandy , and Salman Rouhani of LOCI Architecture + Design, are working alongside Finasi’s joinery team to bring their coffee table concepts to life.
As the prototypes take shape, the designers are refining proportions, adjusting details and developing their ideas into physical pieces.

Each design is progressing through hands-on collaboration at Finasi’s joinery in the UAE, bringing the competition one step closer to its final reveal.

Follow the journey to see how the four designs develop.

As the fit-out contractor, Finasi worked with DePARIS Studio to bring the design vision to life, delivering bespoke joinery, Versailles parquet flooring, Red Calacatta Viola marble features and custom metal detailing. Each element was carefully executed to create a sophisticated, highly personalised home.

Delivered through Finasi’s in-house UAE production facility, the project showcases the precision, craftsmanship and technical expertise behind exceptional residential fit-out.

One brief. Four designers. Four distinct perspectives.

Finasi’s AI Design Competition brings together Zaki Hamdan from Luxe Build; Caio Xerrialves from BLAK Creative Studio ; Yasmin Farahmandy from Yasmin Farahmandy; and Salman Rouhani from LOCI Architecture+Design

Their brief: design a coffee table using AI as part of the creative process, then take the concept beyond the screen and into reality.

The real challenge lies in the making. How far can AI push an idea while keeping it grounded in materials, engineering, production and what can actually be built?

The four concepts will evolve from prompts into physical pieces, each proudly made in the UAE at Finasi’s joinery.

Follow the journey as we reveal the thinking, process and design behind each creation.

Designed with AI. Made in the UAE.

Meet Nancy, one of three designers taking part in Finasi’s Internal AI Design Challenge.
“For me, the Majlis is a place for hospitality and gathering. I wanted to bring that experience of gathering into a chair.”
Inspired by the welcoming spirit of the Majlis, Nancy’s chair features a curved form designed to embrace the sitter, artisanal fabric rich in Middle Eastern patterns, timeless walnut wood and an intertwined metal structure that reflects the way a Majlis brings people together.

From AI-generated concept to physical form, the design is now taking shape through Finasi’s craftsmanship and joinery expertise.
Still a work in progress. Stay tuned as Nancy’s complex design moves from screen to a handcrafted final piece.
