An unexpected colour is making a comeback… chartreuse 💚

This bold, zesty shade has its roots firmly in the ’60s, but used in the right way, it feels surprisingly fresh and sophisticated in today’s interiors.

We love it paired with soft creams and warm neutrals for a calmer look, or contrasted with deep burgundies and rich blues for something altogether more dramatic.

You don’t need to commit to a whole room either. Think painted woodwork, a statement chair or sofa, or smaller upholstered pieces to introduce just the right hit of colour.

Stripes are one of those timeless details that can completely pull a room together.

Whether introduced through fabric, wallpaper, cushions, curtains or even a rug, a stripe brings rhythm and structure to a scheme while happily sitting alongside florals, plains and other patterns.

And there’s a stripe for every interior. Fine, delicate stripes can feel beautifully elegant and refined, while wider, more relaxed designs bring a wonderfully bohemian, collected feel. Mix scales, colours and textures and suddenly the whole room starts to connect.

These beautiful chairs were ready for a fresh new look. Our customer wanted to update them while keeping all the charm and character of their original frames.

Together, we chose Sanderson’s Bagru fabric in Avocado — a fresh, uplifting green with a simple block-print inspired pattern. It brings just the right amount of colour and detail, while still allowing the beautiful wooden frames to shine.

A lovely example of how the right fabric can completely transform a treasured piece of furniture and give it a whole new lease of life. 🌿

One of our favourite colour combinations right now. We’re loving the mix of warm, earthy browns with fresh and unexpected shades of blue.

These gorgeous new lamp bases have just arrived in the shop, and we’re rather in love with their warm, rich colour.

With their softly sculpted shape and glossy finish, they’re the perfect size for a bedside table, console or cosy little corner that needs a touch of warmth. Pair them with a simple natural linen shade for an easy, timeless look.

A lovely way to bring a little colour into a room without overwhelming it.

A little summer pause 🌿

As August arrives, we’re taking a short break to rest, recharge, and gather inspiration.

Our shop will be closed from 3rd August – 31st August, but you can still browse our collection online, and we’re available via email for interior design enquiries and consultations throughout the month.
