This timber cladding had weathered too long, so a full coating strip was required here. You never can tell how the timber will accept new coatings after harsh weathering but I think after 2 coats of Intergrain timber oil its looking pretty good. 😍

I'll admit, this one looks like a standard installation....it was NOT 😅 Full custom size shaker style barn door made to suit the doorway with a custom thickness header board too, to push the door out over the decorative timbers on the base of the architrave. Double brick walls always provide a little more of a challenge and this one was no exception. Some plainly horrible workmanship went into the wall above the door way with what I can only describe as cobbled together gravel and mortar behind the hard plaster. Some creative thinking, swear words and prayers got the job done. Came up a treat and client had a smile on her dial. ☺️ 🚪 💪

So much work going into this frontage timber cladding. Original clear coat perished leaving the timber exposed and weathered. Its pot luck now how the wood accepts the new coating 🤞

So much work went into these windows but I think you will agree the end result made it all worth it. A crazy amount of scraping, sanding, filling, priming and sealing had to happen before paint went anywhere near them. Boards had to be removed and replaced on one set due to hidden rot. Top coated in Dulux Weathershield "Surmist" and "Monument" for a little contrast. Next visit will be time to attack weatherboard, fascia and gutters 💪 🖌🎨

This poor kitchen ceiling had suffered at the hands of some kind of cooking explosion. Regular ceiling white was definitely not going to cut the mustard here. A good coat of Zinsser oil based stain sealer blocker first up and 2 hearty coats of Dulux Kitchen and Bathroom Ceiling White for the win here. Have a great week 😀
