PROJECT COMPLETION | WORKPLACE | SA

We’re excited to celebrate the completion of ResourceCo’s new National Head Office in Adelaide.

It has been a pleasure to continue our relationship with ResourceCo as a valued returning client, delivering the Interior Design and Project Coordination for their new 1,040sqm workplace in Kent Town. BELL has proudly worked with ResourceCo across several key projects now, including the design of their original offices in Rose Park, and the company’s manufacturing, distribution and administration centre in New South Wales. The new head office marks another exciting milestone and a fresh new chapter for the ResourceCo team.

The finished workplace brings together a simplified, neutral palette with earthy tones, timber, curved forms and layered textures to create a calm, refined and welcoming environment. Designed to maximise brightness, warmth and clarity within the core floorplan, the space supports connection, collaboration and day-to-day performance for staff and visitors alike.

Delivered by Jaytex Construction, the new head office is a fantastic addition to Kent Town’s growing commercial community and a strong reflection of ResourceCo’s people, brand and future ambitions.

A big congratulations to ResourceCo and all project partners involved in bringing this workplace to life.

PROJECT COMPLETION | DEFENCE | SA

A learning environment should do more than support training — it should invite focus, connection and retreat.

BELL was pleased to provide architecture and interior design services for the refurbishment of Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG)'s existing training facility at the Edinburgh Defence Precinct, north of Adelaide.

Designed as a learning Hub, the refreshed facility was named Wardli — meaning ‘Home’ in the Kaurna people’s language — following DSTG’s consultation with end users to identify a name that reflected the purpose and character of the space. The design is centred around a ground-floor pod structure within the existing building, visible from above via a mezzanine wraparound staircase.

The space brings together formal and informal presentation areas, open-plan work zones, hot desks, a library wall, quiet and relaxation spaces, and a welcoming entrance and transition zone. Drawing on a coastal biome theme, the interiors use bronze and blue tones to create a distinctive and cohesive environment.

Completed in early 2026, the project supports flexible learning, collaboration and retreat within a contemporary workplace setting.

Thank you to TVN On-Country for the opportunity to contribute to this project.

PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT | RESIDENTIAL | SA

A new apartment development has been proposed for Hollywood Plaza, with plans lodged for 198 apartments across six buildings on a currently underutilised portion of the Salisbury Downs site.

The proposal comes as Hollywood Plaza continues to evolve, following recent improvements BELL has contributed to that have enhanced the customer experience and retailer activation. Together, these developments have strengthened the retail experience and reinforce the centre's role as a key community hub.

Located southwest of the shopping centre on land currently used for car parking, the development will introduce new housing within walking distance of shops, services, transport connections and community facilities.

Currently lodged for planning approval, the proposal comprises buildings ranging from three to six storeys. BELL has developed a scheme that delivers an activated ground plane with public and private landscaped areas. The connected residential environment will sit neatly adjacent to its suburban context, delivering a medium density living opportunity.

For BELL, the proposal represents a positive example of well-planned infill development, bringing new housing to an established neighbourhood, while making efficient use of existing services and infrastructure. It supports greater housing choice and offers an alternative to continued growth on the suburban fringe.

COMMUNITY | NSW

Backing the next generation.

As part of our local community investment programme, BELL has signed on as a major sponsor of Gordon Rugby - The Highlanders Club for 2026.

Our investment in the Gordon Rugby Academy provides direct support to the junior program, spanning female and male athletes from U10s through to Senior U23s. It's a program built on development, pathways and opportunity, and we're proud to play a part in it.

With the season now entering finals, congratulations to the club on having so many teams competing across the Shute Shield and Sydney Rugby Union competitions.

To every player, coach, and member of the support and management teams — we're behind you this weekend and beyond.

Last week, members of the BELL team from across our studios had the privilege of touring the Woolworths Group, Primary Connect Moorebank National and Regional Distribution Centre Precinct in Western Sydney and it did not disappoint.

As architect and interior designer for this landmark $1.3 billion project, seeing the facility operating at full capacity is a powerful reminder of what exceptional collaboration and bold thinking can deliver. Two state-of-the-art multi-level distribution centres spanning over 126,000 sqm, advanced automation and robotics systems, a direct rail connection to Port Botany removing 26,000 truck movements from Sydney’s roads annually, 5-Star Green Star ratings across both facilities, and a rooftop solar installation generating enough energy to power 880 households. All delivered on time and under budget.

But beyond the numbers, what struck our team most was how intentionally the human experience has been woven through a project of this scale, from the quality and warmth of the workplace environment to the design-led approach to safety, inclusivity, and long-term workforce wellbeing. Reading about it is one thing. Standing inside it is another entirely.

A heartfelt thank you to Stacey Faith at Woolworths for so generously giving up her time and leading such a thorough and enthusiastic tour. Your passion for the project was evident and made the experience all the richer for our team.

Congratulations again to the entire project team, Woolworths Group, Primary Connect, Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC), ESR Group Australia, and all partners, on delivering something truly benchmark-setting for Australian logistics and industrial design.
