Curves, brass and European oak.

Our team supplied and installed the flooring for Tajón Luxury Offices on George Street, Sydney: European oak herringbone framed by a custom border with a fine brass inlay that follows every curve of the corridor.

Congratulations to the Tajón team on last night’s grand opening. A privilege to be part of it.

Every terrace has a story, and in Paddington it often starts with the floors.

This home’s original pine boards had seen decades of foot traffic, but the timber underneath was too good to lose. Our team sanded them back to bare timber and finished them in a Brown Japan stain, a deep, warm tone that brings out the grain and suits the terrace’s period character.

Upstairs, EC Acacia Hill carpet to the stairs and upper levels adds softness and warmth.

Original timber, restored for the next chapter. 🪵

Some spaces just feel right the moment you walk in.

This open-plan living area by Halliam Homes | High-Quality Home Builder brings the outdoors in, with bi-folds onto a living green wall, skylights overhead, and our timber running seamlessly from lounge to kitchen.

The natural grain and colour variation add warmth to a crisp white palette.

Commercial parquetry takes a beating, with heavy foot traffic, grit and built-up grime dulling that beautiful herringbone. On this commercial job we brought in the Bona PowerScrubber to mechanically deep clean the timber floor.

Its counter-rotating brushes lift dirt from the grain and the joints between blocks. It uses minimal water and a timber-safe cleaner, so it’s gentle on the timber and tough on grime.

We then recoated with Bona Traffic GO, a commercial-grade waterborne finish built for high-traffic spaces. It’s fast-curing and low-odour, and it offers excellent wear and scratch resistance, so the business was back up and running quickly. 🙌

The result is a refreshed, protected floor with minimal downtime and none of the dust of a full sand. A regular clean and recoat is one of the smartest ways to extend the life of your timber floor.
