A visit to Retreat House.

Nestled in the Byron Shire, the cabin is designed in close relation with its surroundings. Natural materials and climate-responsive design shape the space, with views extending across the native landscape.

The architecture and interiors respond to the site, creating a space that feels closely connected to the land.

A closer look at the Bright Beads Alice Pendant.

Hand-turned timber beads create a sculptural geometric silhouette, bringing warmth and tactility to the space with a presence that extends beyond illumination.

Designed by Marz Designs, Alice is turned in Melbourne from FSC-certified American Oak, then assembled and hand-finished in our Byron Bay studio.

Designed with everyday life in mind, and made to become part of it.

Our collection of kitchen and tableware brings together pieces from Australian designers ciscoandthesun.home to Copenhagen based FRAMA. Chosen for their materiality, form and function, each piece is made to last and be enjoyed for years to come

Mornings at Retreat House, a quiet escape in the Byron Hinterland, where soft light moves through the timber interior and breakfast takes its time.

Handmade ceramics by ciscoandthesun.home bring warmth and tactility to the table, each piece shaped by hand with its own subtle character and variation, complementing the natural materials, tactile finishes and relaxed atmosphere of the space.

A place to settle into a slower rhythm, spend time outdoors, linger over long mornings and enjoy a few days away.
