Achieving designer door frames isn't the impossible task most of us that live in Perth think.
Admitted, removing the plain metal ones is a major job as they are installed into the brickwork at build stage. To remove them is a messy, expensive and structural job and not one we would recommend to undertake.

If you are used to seeing beautiful ornate doorways/architraves, you no longer need to be frustrated by the plain metal ones. Simply install our 'Easy Frames straight onto the existing metal door frame and witness your doorways being transformed.

People ask us what is the difference between plastering or installing Gyprock onto internal brick walls.
The main difference is you can paint Gyprock plaster-board almost instantly, as opposed to plastered walls that need drying out time.

Plain cornices cover the gap where the wall meets the ceiling. That's it.

Decorative ones pull your eye upward, so the ceiling reads higher than it actually is.

Most people assume switching means tearing the old ones out. It doesn't. Ours fit onto your existing cornices, and they're made from polyurethane making them lightweight and perfect for a weekend DIY project.

Want to upgrade your plain cornice?

Removing cornice can be a daunting and tricky task, as the ceilings can get damaged in the process, and cause additional and unecessary expense.

We have been asked if our cornice profiles fit right over the entire existing cornice and the simple answer is 'no'. To be able to cover the entire depth of the existing cornice will require a very large profile which is fine if you have high ceilings, but if you don't, there lies another problem 🤔 as it can suffocate the room making it look a lot smaller than it really is.

But this isn't a problem with our 'Easy Cornice' as they fit onto the edge of the existing cornice at the top (on the ceiling) and on the bottom (on the wall). No large, intrusive profiles dragging the room in, no risk of damaging the ceiling, and with a range of profiles to suit every taste, jazzing up your plain cornice has never been easier.
