Handmade by Cori started in 2013 as a result of receiving a beautiful "Eco" scented soy candle, after burning that candle I went to purchase another and really couldn't justify $39.95 price tag. I thought I’d do a bit of research and see if I could find a cheaper option, (whilst not compromising on quality!) There were a few other options out there but the thing that I couldn't shake was the idea of making my own. Test burning was taking a long time so to speed up the testing process in search of the “perfect” mix I started recruiting friends and family to help, their feedback, advice and ideas helped shape Handmade by Cori into what it is today. After a little while, when my helpers ran out of their test candles they all started asking for more and offering to pay! The idea of this was overwhelming but, it seems that I wasn't the only one interested in saving money and still enjoying these little luxuries. I’m really proud of my products , I use the highest quality Eco soy wax available, fragrance oils designed especially for use in Soy wax and natural fibre wicks. I know my products are just as high quality as the candle that started this whole thing, but has the extra charm of being hand poured and locally produced.

Do I burn a lot of candles at home? Nope. I do, however, have a multitude of reed diffusers. Different fragrances in different rooms, and I flip the reeds every week or so to refresh the fragrance. So easy.

The Aussie range has been a great addition. It has some beautiful fragrances. In order of popularity, they are Australian Bush, Lemon Myrtle, Australian Florals and last is Golden Wattle.

This beach hut wax warmer is adorable; the little seagull detail is too cute! Use it with wax melts or get all retro and splash some fragrance oils in water.

What's your go to fragrance? I usually choose Sun Washed Linen but Lychee Guava Sorbet is the fragrance I go to at the moment, it has something special about it, sweet, fresh and everyone loves it.
