efore and after a recent block clear in Dodges Ferry 🌳🚛

Five truckloads of green waste removed, and the block came up really well!

We don’t claim to be excavation experts, but we gave it a good go—and the owner walked away with a fair bit of cash still in their pocket! 💰

It’s a skill we’re slowly building, but for now, we’ll stick to what we know best—trees! 🌲✂️

Large blue gum removal due to significant decline.

Chickens and turkeys had exposed the root system, while a heavy build-up of manure increased nitrogen and salt levels in the soil—damaging the tree’s feeder roots and contributing to its decline.

Another hazardous tree safely removed by The Green Barber Tree Service.

Dead stringy removal , rainy day at the office !

A large hazardous blackwood had fallen on a very tricky site with an unforgiving slope—but no problem with the right crew and equipment! 🌳💪

We had the entire tree processed in one day, with all branches chipped and the larger logs neatly cut and stacked onsite.

Another difficult job completed safely, efficiently and left tidy.

Good day for it!

Had the pleasure of working for a great client in Primrose Sands 🌳

We gave two large gum trees a good selective prune, with the main goal of letting more sunlight into the backyard while still retaining healthy, well-shaped trees.

A careful prune can make a massive difference — more light, more usable space, and healthier trees without going overboard on the removal.

Another great local job completed by The Green Barber Tree Service 🌿✂️

Possibly the biggest sticky wattle hedge we’ve ever seen… seriously!

We got stuck into a massive, wildly overgrown hedge stretching 70+ metres long, and gave it a proper reset to bring it back under control.

Cut back hard — about 2–3 metres off the height and bulk
Opened right up for better light, airflow, and long-term health
Ended up chipping roughly 8 cubic metres of material from the job
Big day, big effort, but a bloody good result

Completed in Dodges Ferry

The hedge is now looking clean, shaped up, and actually manageable again — ready to grow back the right way.

Got an overgrown hedge or trees getting out of hand? Give The Green Barber Tree Service a shout and we’ll sort it out.

Quick block clear completed in Primrose Sands.

We removed two large gum trees, processed and removed all the debris, then ground the stumps below ground level ready for the next stage of the project.

A nice clean site with plenty of room for the new build to get underway.

The Bandit chipper, Kobelco excavator and Intermercato grapple made light work of this one. 💪
