We've done some fantastic ledgestone fireplaces lately.
Timber framing with Easylap cement sheet and we install the galvanised mesh and mortar substrate, then install the stone.
It doesn't ring if you thump it so it looks and feels much heavier than it really is.

It's been a while since I posted anything up here, but this job came up so well I had to show it off. Its our work laying the beautiful Splendour in Stone Buffalo Fieldstone on a magnificent house on the Mornington Peninsula for Nira Homes.
The rear alfresco chimney to their deck and the indoor fireplace came up so well, the owners also wanted us to do the entrance gate piers to their property.
