You can pour a great slab, but the finishing touches are what really bring it to life.

Sealing is one of those final steps that makes all the difference. Not only does it enhance the concrete’s appearance, but it also helps protect against stains, moisture and everyday wear.

It’s the attention to detail after the concrete is laid that can separate an average job from a quality one.

Jarrod’s back on the tools, getting the sealer down and watching the concrete transform with every pass.

It’s one of the most satisfying parts of the job — seeing all that hard work come together.

And yes, he’s probably inspecting every square inch while he’s at it. 😂

POUR A SHED WITH US. 🤝

No fancy production crew. No staged shots. Just Jarrod and the boys doing what they do best.

A few truckloads of concrete, plenty of banter and everyone knowing their job.

Looks pretty straightforward when you speed it up, doesn’t it? 😂

WHEN THE BOSS HAS HIS OWN CONCRETE TO POUR… 😂

Jarrod spends his days organising everyone else’s jobs, but when it comes to pouring his own, suddenly it’s time to call in a few favours.

A couple of phone calls, a few good mates and the crew is assembled.

Funny how being the boss doesn’t get you out of being on the tools. 😂

Safe to say, he owes us a few beers after this one! 🍻

POOLSIDE, DONE RIGHT.

The concrete around a pool has a big job to do — but that doesn’t mean it can’t look good doing it.

Decorative concrete can completely change the feel of a pool area, creating a clean, considered finish that ties the pool, landscaping and outdoor entertaining space together.

For pool surrounds, we focus on the details that matter: the finish, falls and drainage, durability, and a surface suited to wet areas — because good poolside concrete needs to perform just as well as it looks.

Planning a new pool or upgrading your outdoor area? Get Robson Concreting involved early so the concrete becomes part of the design, not an afterthought.

Nothing fancy. Just a bloody good shed slab. 👌

Big area, clean finish and ready for the shed to go up.

There’s something pretty satisfying about seeing a slab at this stage — especially when the afternoon light hits it like this.

Another one ticked off by the Robson crew.

When the floor is part of the design. ✨

The concrete flooring at the new Vanity Aesthetics has been finished and sealed — bringing out the natural movement, variation and character within the concrete.

There’s a reason burnished and sealed concrete works so well in high-end commercial spaces. It’s understated, timeless and every floor is completely unique.

For this space, the raw concrete finish creates the perfect contrast against the refined interior that’s coming together around it.

OH HEY! 👉 Meet Jarrod 👋🏼

We had to get a sneaky photo for this one because if Jarrod sees a camera come out, he’s usually nowhere to be found. 😂

The man behind Robson Concreting — and still the bloke you’ll find on the tools, making sure every detail is done properly.

Jarrod has built Robson Concreting on something pretty simple: take pride in your work, do what you say you’re going to do, and don’t cut corners.

From the big commercial pours to the fiddly little sections that require getting down on your hands and knees, he brings the same standard to every job.

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes of a concreting business — quoting, organising crews, scheduling, problem solving and plenty of early mornings — but this is still where you’ll usually find him.

On site. On the tools. Getting it done.

He might hate having his photo taken, but we reckon the bloke behind the business deserves to make an appearance every now and then. 😉

And this photo pretty much sums him up — no posing, no fuss, just getting stuck into it.

That’s Robson Concreting. 🤝

“When she asks for a concrete benchtop… a concrete benchtop she gets.” 😂🤝

Apparently being married to a concreter has its perks.

A custom concrete benchtop is officially underway — formed, reinforced and built from scratch by the boss himself. Now wait for the final product Wednesday.

Driveways, sheds, commercial floors… and now keeping the wife happy. 😏
