A fresh new look with Golden Hour!

For this kitchen makeover, we resurfaced the existing black laminate benchtops with our Golden Hour stone overlay, giving the space a much lighter, brighter feel.

The raised breakfast bar was a particularly challenging part of the installation, requiring precision cutting and careful attention to detail to achieve a seamless finish. A fantastic result by our installer, whose craftsmanship really shines through in the finished work.

This kitchen originally had a raised breakfast bar that divided the space and reduced the amount of usable benchtop area.

Rather than replacing the entire kitchen, we removed the raised section and extended the benchtop to create one large, continuous surface. Not only does it make the kitchen feel much more open, it also provides a far more practical area for food preparation, casual dining and everyday use.

The existing benchtops were then resurfaced with our 'Glacier' stone overlay, giving the kitchen a fresh, modern finish without the cost and disruption of a full kitchen replacement.

It's a great example of how working with what you already have - and making a few clever changes - can completely transform a kitchen.

Australia, we need to talk about our blue benchtop era…💙

Another blue laminate kitchen brought into the present - without ripping the whole thing out.

We resurfaced the existing benchtops in Pumice from our Classic range, along with a few clever modifications to open up the space.

Same kitchen. Completely different feel. Brighter, fresher, more modern - and just look at how much more light it lets in!

What a difference a new surface can make!

We transformed the existing blue benchtops with our beautiful 'White Pearl' stone overlay, instantly giving this kitchen a brighter, fresher and more contemporary feel.

And the best part? The benchtops didn't need to be ripped out and replaced. Resurfacing allowed us to completely change the look while working with what was already there.

Sometimes you don't need a whole new kitchen to make a BIG difference.

The kitchen didn't need replacing. It needed this!

Those old off-white laminate benchtops were making the whole kitchen feel dated - but underneath, they were still perfectly suitable for resurfacing.

We resurfaced them with our bright 'Stardust' stone overlay, instantly giving the kitchen a fresher, more modern feel.

But before that, we also cut down the raised servery and extended the benchtop out, opening up the space and creating a much more generous work surface. A new black sink and tap finished the transformation beautifully.

The result? A kitchen that looks years younger — without the cost, mess and waste of ripping out perfectly good cabinetry and starting again.

Sometimes you don’t need a new kitchen. You just need to change the parts that are making it feel old.

A simple change that completely opened up this Gold Coast kitchen.

The original kitchen featured a raised servery that divided the benchtop and limited the usable workspace.

Granite Transformations Gold Coast removed the high servery and extended the lower benchtop, creating one larger, more practical surface and giving the whole kitchen a much more open, modern feel.

To finish the transformation, the existing benchtops were resurfaced in Sea Salt — a fresh, light finish that works beautifully with the existing white cabinetry.

No need for a complete kitchen renovation. Just smart changes and a fresh new surface.

Would you believe we only changed TWO things in this kitchen?

Looking at the before and after, you'd be forgiven for thinking there was a lot more involved.

But all we did was resurface the existing blue laminate benchtops with our 'Sea Salt' stone overlay and replace the tap.

The cabinets, flooring, appliances and layout all stayed exactly as they were.

It's amazing how much impact you can get from changing the surfaces that take up the most visual space - especially when the rest of the kitchen still has plenty of life left in it.

Made for the daily rush🍦

Over a year ago, our Margaret River team completed these beautiful curved benchtops at Mai Tardi Gelato, using our 'Misterio' Stone Overlay.

The finished result looked fantastic on installation day - but it's even better seeing our stone become part of the everyday life of the space.

Alongside our installer’s photos, we’ve included a few customer photos spotted on Mai Tardi Gelateria’s Google Reviews, where you can see the Misterio benchtops in the background, right in the middle of the daily action.

A beautiful finish designed for a space that certainly gets plenty of use.

What a difference removing that raised breakfast bar made!

This recent transformation by our team in Griffith, NSW, started with grey laminate benchtops and raised breakfast bars that made the kitchen feel quite closed off from the adjoining living and dining areas.

The cabinetry was still in great condition, so there was absolutely no need to replace this.

Instead, the breakfast bars were brought down to one level, the old benchtops were resurfaced in 'Iceberg White', and a new sink and tap finished everything off.

It's amazing how much brighter and more open the whole home feels!

Bevelled edges can instantly date an otherwise perfectly good benchtop.

The good news? You don't necessarily need to replace it. We can trim back those dated edges and resurface the existing benchtop with our 7mm stone overlay for a much cleaner, more contemporary finish. 🙌

A small change that can make a BIG difference to the overall look of your kitchen.
