🏡 ACTON PARK PROJECT UPDATE | PAINT PROOF IN ACTION 🎨
We’ve been on site at Acton Park for roughly 6 days in total so far, working around other trades, building progress and the usual construction delays. 🔨
As any experienced tradie knows, when one job needs to pause while other work gets completed, we move across to another job and then return when the time is right. It’s all about keeping things moving, working efficiently and making sure our clients’ time and money aren’t wasted!
So, what have we achieved so far? 👇
✅ All ceilings have received their three coats.
✅ All wet areas have been painted with low-sheen anti-mould paint.
✅ Bedrooms are mostly completed, with some areas waiting for the doors to be finished.
✅ Exterior walls are progressing well, with another coat still required.
✅ We’ve also squeezed in some exterior work while waiting for things to dry inside, making the most of every opportunity.
But here’s what separates a quality paint job from simply putting paint on a wall. 👌
At Paint Proof, we follow a proper preparation and painting process. Ceilings, walls and woodwork are being completed using a three-coat system, with aluminium trims requiring additional coats where needed.
Between coats, we sand where required and thoroughly dust down surfaces. We also use a midi roller to help minimise brush marks and achieve a cleaner, more consistent finish.
With massive ceilings, high walls and a scissor lift required throughout the process, there’s a lot more involved than meets the eye!
We’ve deliberately focused on the main internal areas first so the builder can continue finishing off other parts of the home. Once we get a clearer run, we’ll push ahead with the remaining trim work and exterior finishing.
Quality takes time, preparation takes patience, and the finish is what matters. 💯
At Paint Proof, we keep moving, work around the other trades and make every day count. We don’t cut corners just to rush a job over the line. We do it properly, because your investment deserves the best.
