Ever wanted to try veneering but didn't know where to start?

Richard Coles, furniture maker and veneer specialist with 30+ years at the bench, is running Veneer 101 at our Tingalpa store on Saturday 17 October.

Three hours, hands-on. You'll learn to select, prepare, cut, join and repair veneer, and walk out with a quarter-laid veneer placemat you made yourself.

To the dads with enough timber offcuts to build another house.
Who own hundreds of tools but somehow still need another one.
Who say "I'll just knock something up" and disappear into the shed for six hours.
Who have a project that has been nearly finished since 2019, and absolutely no intention of throwing away that perfectly good piece of timber.
The dads who taught us how to measure twice, cut once, and blame the timber when it doesn't fit.

A new load of timber has just landed at our Brisbane store, including Camphor and Rosewood.
